In 2014, Sparx was just a take-out counter on Shaw Boulevard — a tiny BBQ stall run with passion and a whole lot of fire. The skewers were smoky, the flavors were bold, and the line started forming early. Word spread fast through the neighborhood, and so did the dream.
As the following grew, so did the vision. Sparx found its home in Project 8, Quezon City — a neighborhood that embraced it wholeheartedly. Through the years, a simple stall evolved into a full-service restaurant, earning the trust and loyalty of families, friends, and regulars who made Sparx a part of their weekly routine.
The name "Sparx" has always been about igniting something — a craving, a memory, a conversation. In 2024, that spark became a flame. A major rebrand and relocation to 5 Shorthorn Street gave Sparx a stunning new space: bright, beautiful, and photo-worthy, with a private function room, a new café menu, and the same warmth that started it all.
Three simple principles guide everything we do at Sparx Café.
We cook the food we grew up on — hearty, bold, and packed with flavor. Every dish is a celebration of Filipino culinary heritage, from our grilled BBQ roots to classic ulam and modern café creations.
Sparx isn't just a restaurant — it's a gathering place. We've built a space where families dine together, students study between bites, and friends catch up over hours. Everyone is welcome here.
Our tagline says it all — Ignite Your Taste Buds. We don't believe in bland. From the sizzling sisig to the salted egg shrimps to the blueberry cheesecake, every plate is crafted to make an impression.
These five principles are the foundation of everything Sparx Café represents — from the kitchen to the dining room to the community we serve.
Great food doesn't have to break the bank. We serve generous portions at prices that welcome everyone.
Walk in and feel at home. Whether you're solo or with a crew, there's always a table for you.
We honor the flavors of home — authentic recipes passed down, adapted with love.
We never stop evolving. New dishes, new spaces, new ideas — always elevating the Sparx experience.
Project 8 made us who we are. We give back by staying rooted, staying affordable, and staying delicious.
A decade of fire, flavor, and community — milestones that shaped who we are.
