How It All Started

From a BBQ Stall to a Community Icon

In 2014, Sparx was just a take-out counter on Shaw Boulevard — a tiny BBQ stall run with passion and a whole lot of fire. The skewers were smoky, the flavors were bold, and the line started forming early. Word spread fast through the neighborhood, and so did the dream.

As the following grew, so did the vision. Sparx found its home in Project 8, Quezon City — a neighborhood that embraced it wholeheartedly. Through the years, a simple stall evolved into a full-service restaurant, earning the trust and loyalty of families, friends, and regulars who made Sparx a part of their weekly routine.

The name "Sparx" has always been about igniting something — a craving, a memory, a conversation. In 2024, that spark became a flame. A major rebrand and relocation to 5 Shorthorn Street gave Sparx a stunning new space: bright, beautiful, and photo-worthy, with a private function room, a new café menu, and the same warmth that started it all.

2014

The Spark Ignites

Sparx Bistro opens as a humble BBQ take-out stall on Shaw Boulevard — grilled skewers, pork BBQ, and isaw that captured the neighborhood's heart.

2015 – 2020

Building a Following in Project 8

Word spreads and Sparx finds its permanent home in Project 8, Quezon City. Loyal regulars grow into a community of food lovers who call it their dining home.

2021 – 2023

Full Restaurant Operations

Sparx expands into a full-service dine-in restaurant with a comprehensive menu of Filipino mains, grills, noodles, and desserts. The menu grows as deep as the community's love for it.

2024

Sparx Café — A New Chapter

Major rebrand and relocation to 5 Shorthorn Street, Project 8. New space, new look, new energy. Sparx Café is born — bigger, posh, and more photo-worthy than ever, with a private function room and expanded café menu.

2025

10+ Years of Igniting Taste Buds
